Kortnie Lynch, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Kortnie Lynch is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience and more than 12 years specializing in substance use disorder treatment. She is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care that supports both mental wellness and long-term recovery.
Kortnie provides care in residential substance use treatment facilities across Florida, while also leading her outpatient practice, Next Right Thing Behavioral Health, where she focuses on substance use disorders, psychiatric care, and medication-assisted treatment. Her approach emphasizes meeting patients where they are, helping them navigate challenges with practical support and individualized treatment plans.
Outside of work, Kortnie enjoys spending quality time with her daughter Emerson, creating art, and being outdoors. She believes healing often starts with connection, honesty, and simply finding the next right thing.
Angel
Office Manager
Angel is our Office Manager and a valued part of the Next Right Thing family, bringing warmth, organization, and a caring spirit to our office every day. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with her bachelor’s degree and has a background in both childcare and dental hygiene, giving her a strong foundation in helping others feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.
Her natural compassion, attention to detail, and ability to keep everything running smoothly make her an essential part of creating a welcoming experience for our patients and families.
This year, Angel celebrated a beautiful new chapter by getting married. Her kind heart, positive energy, and dedication make her such a special part of our team.
Tobi Granger
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Tobi Granger is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 3 decades of experience. Tobi specializes in Addiction Recovery, Trauma Recovery, Family Systems and overall Mental Health Care. Tobi brings extensive clinical experience across both residential treatment, as well as private practice. Her approach is grounded in a deep respect for each person’s unique story, with an emphasis on fostering insight, resilience, and sustainable change.
Tobi is dedicated to helping her clients explore meaning and purpose within their journey, while strengthening their capacity for growth and self-understanding. Throughout this process, you will be met with consistent support, collaboration, and a therapeutic relationship built on trust; you will not face this journey alone.
In her free time, Tobi enjoys spending time with her daughter who is enrolled in a Clinical Mental Health Masters program at Rollins College, going on long walks with her Australian Shepherd, and spending time with family and friends.
Kristen
Practice Support Coordinator
Kristen serves as our Practice Support Coordinator, working closely alongside our Office Manager, Angel, to help keep Next Right Thing running smoothly behind the scenes. With a natural talent for organization and a strong eye for detail, she helps manage administrative tasks, insurance verifications, and the day-to-day flow that keeps our office operating efficiently.
Before joining Next Right Thing, Kristen worked as an Office Manager at a dance studio, where she quickly became a favorite among the children and families she worked with. Her warm personality, reliability, and dedication made her someone both staff and families could always count on.
Outside of work, Kristen is incredibly devoted to her family and especially loves spending time with her nieces. Her caring nature, strong work ethic, and commitment to helping others make her an important part of our team.
Debbie Doodle
Debbie is our four-year-old Goldendoodle and one of the sweetest members of the Next Right Thing family. She has a gentle, calming presence and seems to know exactly when someone needs a little extra comfort.
Debbie loves helping others and brings warmth, smiles, and plenty of tail wags wherever she goes. At home, she adores her nine-year-old little girl and one of her favorite things to do is pick her up from school.
While most dogs get excited for treats, Debbie would much rather have a good head pat and some extra love. Her kind heart and peaceful spirit make her the perfect companion for our office.
Billy
Billy is our lovable standard poodle with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Known for being the best hug-giver around, Billy has a special way of making everyone feel welcome—when he decides you’ve earned his attention.
He is a little selective with his affection and tends to choose his people carefully, which makes his cuddles feel even more special. Once Billy picks you, you’re in for loyal companionship, extra love, and plenty of hugs.
He is equal parts playful and laid-back, with a soft spot for long naps and cozy moments. At home, his very best friend is a little black cat, proving that the sweetest friendships sometimes come in unexpected packages.
Billy is always happy to brighten someone’s day—especially if it includes extra cuddles, attention, and of course, a pup cup. His gentle nature and affectionate spirit make him a favorite wherever he goes.
